I am happy to see the healthy discussion in the net about bringing in all the community youth and intellectuals into one fold for the sake of community service.
It is needless to say that IUML is the one and only social, community and political organisation which is responsible for the Muslims of India living today with self respect. No other organisation in this country can claim credit for the same. There are more than 100 organisations claiming to be working for the betterment of the community. But the net result what we have witnessed is that the youth were sent to jails and their families were thrown into streets. No organisation came forward to take the responsibility. But they were busy in "Fund Raising".
The youth are very vigourous and emotional who want to see instant results like fast food. They don't know the history of this country (India).
Muslim League is the only party which was founded by the sons of the soil with a noble cause of liberating this country from the clutches of slavery.
They fought the British. During kilafath movement they not only faught against Englishmen, but also boycotted the education through English language.
They boycotted higher education, convent education and any thing offered by British and their language. The consequenses are even now visible where the Sachar Commission in it's report says that the Muslim community's literacy level is far below than the scheduled caste community of this country. It reflects in their economic conditions. The leaders and cadres without any distinction have sacrificed their life, future and prosperity for the sake of this country.
But some parties founded by the agents of British claim that they are the freedom fighters.
The same party which is having the legacy of leading freedom movement without any compromise is now leading the movement to safeguard the freedom we have achieved. I will storngly recommend all of you to first of all read the "MUSLIM LEAGUE NOOTRAANDU VARALAARU" written by Ezhuththarasu Janab.Haneef and published by the Muslim League publications. It is not mere history of Muslim League. It is the History of the freedom movement led by one and only party in India which is a standing example for patriotism. Till date IUML is guided only by patriotism. Its leaders are known for their simplicity, self lessness, hard work, and cordial approach.
Being part of Muslim League will itself mould a Man into a Gentleman. Let us teach the youth to be "Gentlemen" rather than mere "Men".
