Social Harmony Awards presented

CHENNAI: The Social Harmony Awards instituted by the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) were given to former TNCC president Kumari Anandan, Chairman of the Tamil Nadu Minorities Economic Development Corporation Ltd Fr Xavier Arul Raj and Islamic Foundation Trust vice-president K.V.S. Habeeb Muhamed.
State Finance Minister K. Anbazhagan presented the awards on behalf of Chief Minister M. Karunandhi who could not attend the function as he was indisposed. Minister of State for Railways E. Ahamed, Bishop Ezra Sargunam and IUML national general secretary K.M.Khader Mohideen participated.— Special Correspondent
